The old folks said that the hot spring came from the volcanic heat, but base on facts as the owner search there are no volcanoes found in whole Cebu. Esoy Hot spring is located in one of the highest mountain in Catmon named Mt. Tabayag. Based on facts the water is come from natural underground heat and it is subjective to produce subspring heat
